List of software:
• SML - Spatal Matrix Library• ezGDAL• darksky• plMapcalcSML
SML - Spatial Matrix Library extends GIS raster data model to tensors. Every cell element can contain scalar number (as usual), vector of numbers or tensor of numbers.
SML is an interafce to create, read, write, and access SML layers. The library is available under LGPL license.

ezGDAL
ezGDAL - Easy GDAL - library is a layer between GDAL library and user program. It allows to acces GDAL data (GeoTIFF) in two modes: as scan lines or horizontal buffer divided to squares (frames).
The library is available under LGPL license.

darksky
Darksky is a program to calculate night sky light pollution. It is based on Berry's model [Berry R. L., 1976: Light Pollution in Southern Ontario, Journal of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, 70, 97]. The former version (working under GRASS GIS system) of the program was desribed in [H. Netzel, P. Netzel, 2016: High resolution map of light pollution over Poland. J. of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer]. The program uses GHSL (Global Human Settelment Layer) data to calculate night sky brightness. The program can use data other then GHSL but it needs recalibration.
Improved version of darksky can calculate sky brightness taking into account DEM and shadowing effect.
The darksky needs GDAL library and ezGDAL library.
The program is available under GPL3 license.

plMapcalc
plMapcalc is another one raster map calculator. It uses TCC compiler to compile calculation rules. The program uses GDAL to access raster data. plMapcalc produces GeoTIFF files as an output.
The program is available under GPL3 license.
